Clothing and textiles has been around from the dawn of time. Garments for the body; articles of dress; wearing apparel. There are all sorts of appeal formal and informal for work and play.
Clothing refers to any covering of the human body. Wearing of clothing is exclusively a human characteristic; clothing primary function is to protect the body from the elements and enhance the safety during activities such as hiking and cooking.
Textiles defined as felt or spun fibers made into yarn which is then netted of woven to make fabrics. Textile production has continually evolved, and the choices of textiles have influenced how people careered their possessions.

History of Clothing
Most clothing worn in the Stone Age was probably from animal skins and plant life’s woven together for protection from the weather. But with today’s technical advancements clothing can almost from anything. In the Middle Ages wool was by far the most common textile used in making clothing. Today wool is relatively expensive because synthetic materials with similar qualities are easy to produce.
Wool
Wool comes from animals such as camels, goats, and sheep. Of these, sheep were the most common source for wool in medieval Europe. Sheep were easy to care for and versatile.
Wool and Clothing
The type of wool from differs from the type of sheep, and even a single sheep would have more than one grade of softness in its fleece. The outer layer was coarser and was longer, while the inner layers were shorter, softer, curlier, and exceedingly warm.

Type of Wool Clothing: All grades of fiber were used in weaving cloth and the variations in wool quality, different weaving techniques and the wide range of production in different location but the main two types of wool cloth are worsted and woolen.
Cotton
Cotton: Cotton comes from a plant that is grown in a warm climate. The most common fabric in babies clothing is cotton. Cotton is soft and absorbent and gentle on a baby skin.
Cotton / Polyester Blends
Cotton / Polyester Blends: A blend that dries quickly resists wrinkling and is typically less expensive than cloths made from a 100% natural fiber. This blend is easy to care for and doesn’t shrink.
